April 24, 2016 – At 14:23 Fire District 63 was dispatched to a location within North Manheim Township, to assist Schuylkill EMS with a medical emergency. Squad 63-69 arrived on scene as well as other units from the SHFD. Chief 63-03 (Sweigert) advised of a possible landing zone and diverted units to the parking lot at the First UCC Church, 110 Route 61 South. Squad 63-69 and Rescue 63-57 established a secure area for the helicopter to land. 63-95 (Schimpf) had command of the landing zone and placed all units available once the helicopter returned to the air.
