Early in the morning, and after each of the companies had put their trucks and equipment back together…Stations 1 & 2 were dispatched to 1571 Route 61 North, to the area of Ryan Brothers Used Car Lot for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries at 06:52. As Chief 720 arrived on scene he reported that it was a pickup truck vs. A……..backhoe!! One more time…..pickup truck vs. A parked backhoe. The chief advised that there was no injuries and asked to cancel EMS while en route, and had Rescue 727 and Engine 732 to continue in to clean up debris off the road and parking lot. Crews were cleared within 20 minutes.
