October 3,2008- At 13:02 stations 2 & 4 were dispatched to the area of 83 South Berne Street, Schuylkill Haven Boro, for a motor vehicle accident with fluids down.
As Duty Chief 723 (Donatti) went en route, county advised him that the vehicle was at 83 South Berne Street, but the actual crash happened near the back gate to Lake Wynonah, South Manheim Twp. The vehicle was traveling from Auburn into the Schuylkill Haven area and struck a utility pole near the back gate and proceeded to travel into the borough limits before it ran out of fluids and stalled. Engine 732 and Engine 737 took care of the fluids, and were assisted at the scene by SHPD and State Police. Time out was 40 minutes.
