January 2, 2009- Stations 2 & 4 were dispatched to assist Pine Grove Fire Department at 78 Birds Hill Road, Pine Grove Boro, for a reported structure fire. Do to the water pressure problems that Pine Grove is having, station 4 was dispatched for Tanker 738 for Tanker Shuttles, and also Wagon 736 to go to a fill site in the borough as well as using their manpower at the scene. Station 2 was activated also for their manpower. However, as the fleet of Schuylkill Haven trucks entered Pine Grove borough limits, they were advised to slow down their repsonse and that Pine Grove companies had the fire contained. After receiving the message Wagon 736, Tanker 738, Squad 739, Engine 732, and Squad 734, as well as Chief 720 and 722 were used as stand bye for Pine Grove, housing in Pine Grove HH&L station. Stations 2 & 4 were out of the boro for just over 1 hour.
