May 12, 2009- At 07:49 stations 1 & 2 were dispatched to the area of Route 61 and Briar Road, North Manheim Twp, for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. As Duty Chief 722 (Sattizahn) went responding he was advised by county of a chief from another municipality on location confirming entrapment as well as fire. However, by the time Chief Sattizahn arrived on scene, Chief 38 (Ashland Fire) and some others had already pulled the victim out of the vehicle. Once the medics arrived on scene, it was decided to fly the patient, so Chief 722 asked to have Landingville Fire dispatched to set up a landing zone at the Schuylkill Raquet Ball Club. All Schuylkill Haven units were busy for just over a half hour.
