September 9, 2010 – At 7:56 Station 1 was dispatched for Rescue 726 along with Fire District 41 (Cressona) to the area of 154 Gordon Nagle Trail for a reported motorcycle accident with injuries. Chief 41-05 (Woleschok) was the first to arrive on scene and confirmed a two vehicle accident involving a motorcycle with injuries. As Crews arrived and assisted at the scene, EMS requested that SCCC dispatch an aero medical to transport the injured patient. Chief 41-05 then asked for an Engine from Station 2 to respond to the scene to setup a landing zone for incoming Medevac 7. E-732 quickly arrived on scene and setup a secure area for the “bird” to land. Personnel also assisted with patient packaging and transport to the helicopter. All Schuylkill Haven units remained on scene for approximately 40 minutes. Chief 720 (Peel) had command.
