December 15, 2010 – At 14:06 Stations 1, 2 & 4 were dispatched to 44 Saint John St in the borough for smoke inside a structure. Crews arrived on scene and quickly determined that the source of the smoke was coming from a malfunctioning oil burner. Crews disabled the oil burner and began to ventilate the structure using PPV fans. All Schuylkill Haven units remained on scene for approximately 30 minutes. Chief 722 (Sattizahn) had command.
