February 16, 2011 – At 19:38 Stations 1 & 4 were dispatched to the area of the Schuylkill Mountain Road and Shue String Lane for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Crews arrived on scene and were met with a head-on, two vehicle accident blocking the roadway. Fire personnel assisted the patients in exiting the vehicles and assisted EMS with a minor injury. The roadway was then cleared of all debris and all Schuylkill Haven units remained on scene until the tow company arrived. Time out was approximately 60 minutes and Chief 720 (Peel) was in command of the incident. Photos via E-737.
