May 28, 2011 – At 08:38 The Schuylkill Haven Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) was dispatched to 50 Tri-Y Lane Upper Tulpehocken Township, Berks County for a structure fire. When Engine 733 and Squad 739 hit the road SCCC advised that Berks units were on scene reporting a working fire and heading to a 2nd alarm. Crews arrived on scene and assisted command with roof ventilation and overhaul operations. Crews remained on scene for approximately 1.5 hours until being release by command. Photos coming soon.

An accidental fire Saturday damaged a second-story room and attic in an Upper Tulpehocken Township home, a Strausstown Fire Company official said.
The fire at 50 Tri-Y Lane was reported at 8:30 a.m. and firefighters could see flames coming from the upper corners of the second story when they arrived, said First Assistant Chief Jeremy I. Bentz. Read More
