November 11, 2011 – After being called to the area to investigate an odor of fuel oil, at 12:55 Chief 723 (Donatti) requested the SHFD for a possible chimney fire at 427 Hess Street. Crews arrived on scene and checked the residence for extension using thermal imagery cameras. It was then determined a faulty oil burner caused the odor and smoke in the chimney. All units were then placed available by Chief 723.
