January 3, 2012 – At 07:32 Station 1 was dispatched for Rescue 726 to respond to the area of 142 Pottsville Street, for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Fire personnel arrived on scene and found a vehicle had sheared a utility pole and struck a structure with 1 patient. Crews assisted Fire District 41 (Cressona) with patient removal from the vehicle. Rescue 726 was then released to assist Stations 2 & 4 with setting up a landing zone for incoming Medevac 7.
