December 13, 2014 – At 19:05 the SHFD was dispatched to 600 E. Main Street in the borough for a reported garage fire. As all units began to respond, SCCC advised of a vehicle on fire and one occupant still inside of the garage. Crews arrived on scene and found that the owner had used a personal fire extinguisher to knock down the fire. Fire personnel performed ventilation of the structure using a PPV fan and checked for extension. All units were then placed available by Chief 730.
