December 16, 2014 – At 07:28 the SHFD Rapid Intervention Team was dispatched to 104 Main Street, Strausstown, Berks County for a working structure fire. Fire crews arrived on scene and paired with another RIT Team from the Wommelsdorf Fire Company. Both RIT teams were placed clear and available once the fire was brought under control. Chief 723 had command.
