December 23, 2014 – At 16:20 Station 1 was dispatched for Ladder 725 to 710 North Warren Street, Orwigsburg Borough for a reported chimney fire. As all units began to respond, SCCC advised that a caller across the street can see a large amount of smoke coming from the chimney. 56-92 arrived on the scene and found that the homeowner added wood to his fireplace causing extra smoke. All units were advised to reduce their rate. Chief 722 responded to the scene.
