October 31, 2016 – At 05:22 the Schuylkill Haven Fire Department was dispatched to 490 Route 61, North Manheim Township for a garage fire. Chief 63-02 (Reed) arrived on scene and confirmed a working fire and immediately requested a tanker task force. First arriving Engine 63-12 secured a hydrant at the entrance from Route 61 and placed the engine’s deck gun in service. Fire personnel from Stations 1 & 4 arrived next, and assisted with fire suppression and overhaul. Fire units remained on scene for more than 4 hours. Photos via MLK Photography
