May 14, 2010 – At 19:48 Stations 1 & 2 were dispatched to the intersection of Center Avenue and Dock Street for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries. When Chief 724 (Moran) arrived on scene he advised all incoming units of a one vehicle accident with injuries and fluids down on the roadway. Crews quickly arrived and assisted with removing the patient from the vehicle and applied floor dry to the roadway. Chief 724 was then advised by EMS that the patient needed to be flown. A second Engine from Station 2 was requested and Ladder 725 was redirected to the Church at Penn State to assist with the LZ. Chief 724 had command and units were on scene for approximately 1 hour.
