June 9, 2010 – At 18:28 Station 4 was dispatched for T-738 to 56 S. Tulpehocken Street, Pine Grove Borough for an apartment building fire. As T-738 and Squad 739 was en-route Pine Grove Command also requested the S.H.F.D. (RIT) to the scene bringing both E-732 and E-733 from Station 2 to the fire. Fire personnel arrived on scene and were immediately split into teams to help assist with fire attack and overhaul. Crews also assisted with roof ventilation and searching for fire extension. After overhaul was completed, PG command requested Station 2 to stand-by at Hose Hook & Ladder until all Pine Grove units cleared the scene. All Schuylkill Haven units were placed available after approximately 5 hours. *MLK PHOTOS* – more to be loaded shortly.
