June 12, 2010 – At 17:34 Stations 1 & 4 were dispatched to 309 Maple Avenue, Deer Lake for a working house fire with possible entrapment. Chief 42 (Strouse) was in command confirming a working structure fire and immediately activated a second alarm bringing E-732 and E-733 from Station 2. Crews from Stations 1 & 4 were utilized for manpower while Station 2 was staging as a R.I.T. team until the Pottsville R.I.T. team arrived on scene. Once Pottsville arrived on scene, Station 2 was also utilized for manpower and overhaul operations. All Schuylkill Haven units remained on scene for approximately 2.5 hours until being released by Chief 42. More information to follow.
