February 13, 2011 – At 21:56 Station 2 was dispatched to 48 St. Peter street to assist Chief 720 who was already on scene of a smoke alarm investigation. With the incident located across from the station Engine 732 arrived on scene upon dispatch. Engine 732 arrived on scene to find a smoke alarm sounding and the residence charged with smoke. Crews performed a primary search of the residence and found a malfunctioning kerosene heater filling the residence with smoke. After checking the structure over with the 4 gas meter units secured the building and were released by Chief 720. Information from Schuylkillhose.com
