March 31, 2016 – At 06:58 Station 1 and 4 were dispatched along with Fire Districts 42, 39, 47, 55, and 56 to 49 Pine Dale Industrial Park for a building fire. Chief 42 arrived on scene and was met with smoke showing from a large warehouse. It was soon determined that a large piece of machinery, a glass collector, was on fire inside of the building. Crews used various tools, rope and a charged hose line to gain access to the collector at the ceiling level to extinguish the fire. Tanker 63-38 was cleared after 2.5 hours and responded with 4 firefighters. *Photos via Squid
