April 9, 2009- At 18:45 (and as Engine 732 and Chief 723 were returning from Pine Grove) all 3 Haven stations were dispatched to 43 St. John Street, Schuylkill Haven Boro, for an automatic fire alarm. As units were going responding, county advised that the homeowner wanted the fire department cancelled as they burnt food on the stove. Before being cancelled Engine 737 arrived on scene and advised all other incoming units of burnt steak on the stove and that there was no need for fire apparatus. Time out was about 20 minutes.
