April 25, 2009- At 23:12 Stations 1 & 4 were dispatched to 2 East Adamsdale Road for a commercial structure fire. Incident commnad, Chief 47 (Hoffman) was first to arrive on scene, and confirmed smoke throughout the building and upgraded it to a working fire. The crew from Ladder 725 laddered the building right away and prepared to open the roof for venitlation. The crews from Engine 737 and Wagon 736 assisted District 47 and 56 (Landingville and Orwigsburg) on fire suppression. After a few minutes, it was determined that the main fire load was located in the basement, and the rest of the building only sustained smoke and water damage. Crews remained on scene for about 2 hours.
