July 14, 2009- At 22:44 Liberty Station 4 was dispatched to assist District 41 (Cressona) for smoke in a house at 55 Railroad Street, Cressona Boro. Engine 737 and Wagon 736 arrived on scene and assisted with the investigation as to where the smoke originated from. After a brief walk through it was found that it was the result of a bad receptacle and bad plug from the refrigerator. Crews shut off the breaker and unplugged the “fridge” and were cleared from the scene in about 40 minutes.
