September 9, 2008- Just after 10am, station 4 was dispatched for Engine 737 and Tanker 738 to 1 Penn Dye Street, Pine Grove Boro, for a commercial structure fire. Engine 737 arrived on scene and hooked a hydrant as the crew from the engine did an interior search at the rear of the building. Luckily, the fire was small and contained to the duct work in the factory and not a lot of water was being utilized.
At the same time that station 4 was dispatched, the Schuylkill Hose was dispatched for Engine 732 to respond to 1 Orchard Street (HH&L Station) Pine Grove Boro, for a move up assignment as Pine Grove and Pine Grove Twp. were on the scene of the commerical fire. All units were back in Schuylkill Haven Boro by 12:30.
