December 17, 2008- At 07:17 the Schuylkill Haven R.I.T. (rapid intervention team) was dispatched to 1410 West Laurel Blvd, Pottsville City, on a working commercial structure fire. Engine 737 handled the RIT assignment with a crew and luckily their services were not utilized with the exception of using a PPV fan to help air out the facility. The team was cleared and placed available and were back in the borough by 10:00.
