January 14, 2009- At 16:03 stations 1 & 2 along with District 41 ( Cressona) were dispatched to 1530 Route 61 South, North Manheim Twp, for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Chief 723 (Donatti) was first on the scene and confirmed entrapment as there was a vehicle on it's side, right at the entrance to the Cressona Mall. Crews from Engine 732 and Rescue 727 used tools to extricate the patient and sent them to the awaiting ALS truck. After patient removal the 2 companies assisted with cleaning up debris from the roadway and awaited arrival of PSP and a tow truck. Stations 1 & 2 were busy for just over an hour. **MLK PHOTOS**
