October 9, 2009- At 04:05 Liberty Station # 4 was dispatched to 2805 Village Road, West Brunswick Twp, for a possible structure fire assisting Districts 56, 42 and 47 (Orwigsburg, Deer Lake and Landingville). As chief 56 (Hardinger) and chief 42 (Strause) arrived on scene, they advised all incoming units of a stove fire and that the house was filled up with smoke, bringing everyone in under caution. Station 4 was out of the borough for about 45 minutes and then was released by incident command.
