December 2, 2009- At 19:41 the Schuylkill Haven Fire Department was dispatched to 449 Route 61 South, North Manheim Twp, for an automatic fire alarm. As units went responding, and additional was given by SCCC of a activated heat alarm from a residential building. Apparatus traveled down Route 61 to find the house to the rear of the old Becker Brother’s Toyota. Once everyone arrived on scene, crews were met by the homeowner, and she stated that she had no idea why the alarm was tripped and that there was no problem in the house. With that, Duty Chief 720, cleared himself and all Haven units. Time out was 20 minutes.
