December 17, 2009- At 09:21 Liberty Station #4 and Landingville (District 47) were dispatched to assist District 34 (Friedensburg and Summit Station) on a working garage fire at 6 Kiehners Road, Wayne Township. Tanker 738 arrived on scene and staged on Kiehners Road, as a bulk of the fire was knocked down by neighbors. Before any fire apparatus could arrive on scene, a group of neighbors got together and put portable pumps in a swimming pool next to the fire building and began extinguishing the fire. Due to the quick thinking and “Knock-down” of honorary firefighters, station 4 was back in the borough in under an hour. **MLK Photos**
