December 20, 2009- At 02:16 the Schuylkill Haven Fire Department was dispatched for their R.I.T. (rapid intervention team) to respond to 202 South Jackson Street, Pottsville City, on a house fire. Engine 733 and Squad 739 went responding with 12 RIT members. However, after arriving on the scene in Pottsville, the team was placed available by incident command.
