December 30, 2009- At 13:12 the Rainbow Hose, Station # 1 was dispatched along with Districts 56, 42 and 47 (Orwigsburg, Deer Lake and Landingville) for smoke in a structure at 323 East Mifflin Street, Orwigsburg Borough. Incident command 56-01, (Zimmerman) arrived on scene and held all units in station with the exception of Orwigsburg and Deer Lake apparatus. After an investigation was conducted Chief Zimmerman cancelled off the remaining units and placed everyone available.
