April 8, 2010 – At 00:13 Stations 1 & 4 were dispatched along with District 41 (Cressona) and Pottsville RIT for a reported House Fire in the area of 60 Schuylkill Street, Cressona. County advised all responding units that flames were reported near the front of the structure. Chief 723 (Donatti) and Chief 41 (Mansell) arrived on location and found the fire to be knocked down due to the quick thinking of a local resident and a garden hose. Crews arrived on scene and began checking the structure for extension using tools and thermal imaging cameras. Units remained on scene for approximately 30 minutes.
