June 6, 2010 – At 10:48 the Schuylkill Haven Fire Department was dispatched to 401 University Drive (North Manheim Township) to the Rest Haven Nursing Home for an automatic fire alarm. As units became en-route, county advised of a smoke detector activation on the first floor located near the reception area. It was quickly determined to be a false activation and as units arrived on scene they were placed available by Chief 722 and Chief 724.
