September 30, 2010 – Just as crews began to remove a large tree located at 800 Schuylkill Mountain Road, a second call to district was advised by SCCC of a possible structure fire at 739 Garfield Avenue. Chief 724 (Moran) was the first to arrive on scene and advised county of a smoke condition caused by a microwave. Crews arrived on scene and used Positive Pressure Fans to ventilate the residence. Crews remained on scene for approximately 20 minutes. Chief 723 (Donatti) was in command.
