December 11, 2010 – At 18:29 the Schuylkill Haven Fire Department was dispatched to 31 Center Avenue for a reported house fire. Chief 724 (Moran) arrived on scene and advised all incoming units of a possible chimney fire. Crews gained access to the roof and checked the chimney for fire (using a Thermal Imagery Camera) and for any obstructions in the the chimney lining. All SHFD units remained on scene for approximately 25 minutes until being release by Chief 724.
