March 6, 2011 – At 10:28 Stations 2 & 4 were dispatched to the area of 199 S Berne Street for a tree down on a vehicle. Chief 723 (Donatti) arrived on scene and was met with a large tree on wires that caused severe damage to a vehicle that was passing through the area. Crews swept debris from the roadway and contacted the township for assistance in removing the tree. The occupant of the vehicle was thankfully uninjured. All Schuylkill Haven units were placed clear and after approximately 25 minutes by Chief 723. Pictures via Engine 737.
