February 11, 2012 -At approximately 23:00hrs Station 4 was dispatched to 1565 Long Run Road, Wayne Township to assist Fire District 34 on a fully involved house fire. Engine 737 was the first Station 4 unit to arrive on scene and immediately established a water supply feeding E34-10 via 5inch diameter hose. Personnel from Station 4 also established a tanker dump site as 34 command requested a 1st Alarm Tanker Task Force.Windy conditions and the intense cold temperatures made it difficult for firefighters to battle the blaze and created extremely slippery conditions. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported.
