May 21, 2012 – At 10:58 the SHFD was dispatched to the area of 300 Manheim Road for a vehicle accident with injuries. Chief 720 arrived on scene to find a vehicle had left the roadway and slid down a 30ft. embankment and 1 patient confined. Crews gained access to the patient, assessed injuries and used numerous rigging devices/ropes to bring the patient to safety. All units were on scene for approximately 1 hour. Chief 720 had command.
