May 9, 2012 -At 17:02 the SHFD Dive Team was requested to Exeter Township Berks County for a water rescue. Crews responded to the area of River Front Drive, in the city of Reading to deploy the Dive Team and equipment. Fire personnel used inflatable Water Rescue Boats and 1 Aluminum Flat-bottom boat with side scan sonar to search for the victim. After approximately 4 hours in the water, nothing was found and all SHFD Dive units were released. Chief 722 had command.
