February 24, 2015 – At 18:31 the SHFD was dispatched along with Cressona FD to 2535 Panther Valley Road for a barn fire. Fire personnel arrived on scene to find a barn approximately 50x100ft — fully involved. Crews pulled multiple hand-lines and initiated an exterior fire attack. Sadly a few animals were lost in the fire. All units were on scene for approximately 1.5 hours. Chief 722 (Motko) had command.
