September 1, 2009- At 17:58 all 3 Schuylkill Haven stations along with District 41 (Cressona) were dispatched to 1544 Route 61, North Manheim Twp, for an automatic fire alarm at the Surgery Center in the Cressona Mall. As Chiefs 41-01 (Krammes, Jr) and 723 ( Donatti) went responding they were given additional from county, stating it was a water flow alarm coming from the second floor. However, as the 2 chiefs and Engine 41-17 arrived on scene, they were advised that the maintenance company was working on the alarm system and didn’t notify the Comm Center. All other units were placed back in service prior to arrival.
