December 4, 2011 – At 06:49 the SHFD was dispatched to the area of Route 61 and Briar Road, to the old Toyota Dealership, for a structure fire. As Chief 723 became en-route SCCC advised that a caller reported heavy smoke and flames in the area. Chief 723 arrived on location and found smoke coming from a wood burner. Chief 723 slowed all arriving units and placed all 3 companies available a short time later.
